PASKA ATIM
Yoga Teacher and assistant manager of Kanga Studio Nairobi
Paska teaches from the heart. While teaching, she connects to her students individually. She begins her classes with breathing techniques and meditation exercises to help people connect physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Paska was introduced to Yoga in 2014 while studying in Nairobi. After completing her first two yoga teacher trainings with Africa Yoga Project, and later with Karuna Yoga Journey, she found herself teaching in Lamu. While Paska was in Lamu, she met Emma. She was very interested in Kanga Yoga and it’s philosophy. She was keen to know more.
The following year, Paska moved to Nairobi for her daughter’s studies. She kept in touch with Kanga and learnt more about Kanga Yoga. The essence of the practice resonated so strongly with Paska that she applied for the 200-hour Kanga Yoga Teacher Training. Paska graduated from the course and is now a full-time teacher. Her classes are suitable for all levels.
Paska has been on the creative and management team for the opening of Kanga Studio Nairobi. She will be teaching on the Kanga Studio table and offering workshops and courses.
