Myra Lewin
Myra Lewin is an Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) and Ayurveda Yoga Therapist (AYT) with over 30
years of experience and more than 100,000 hours of teaching. A master yogini, she has
authored several acclaimed books on Ayurvedic eating, including Freedom in Your
Relationship with Food, and hosts two popular podcasts, “Everyday Ayurveda and Yoga at
Hale Pule” and “Spark Your Intuition.” Based in Bali, Indonesia, Myra embodies integrity and
simplicity in her teaching. Her journey began as a teenager when she taught swimming to
children with special needs. After a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis at 30, she turned to
yoga, which helped her reclaim her health, leading her to teach full-time in 1994.
Myra deepened her understanding of yoga through study with Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India,
and began her Ayurvedic journey by integrating ghee into her diet. She has studied with
prominent practitioners and completed advanced clinical studies in India. In 1999, she
founded Hale Pule Ayurveda & Yoga, a holistic educational and healing centre.
