Yoga Teacher + Happy Yoga Tanzania Ambassador

Aneth’s yoga journey started in 2017 at the age of 19, when she joined the Happy Yoga sessions within her community. After joining the teenager yoga sessions and also enjoying the sessions with small children, she was invited to join the Happy Yoga team and follow adult sessions, to receive more knowledge about yoga.

In the same year, she joined the 90-hour Children and Teenager Yoga Teacher Training Course in Arusha, offered by Helen Purperhart, and started teaching Children and Teenagers at several locations in and around Arusha. She offered in-class and after-school sessions at United World College East Africa, community outreach sessions at Moivaro area, and Highridge English Medium School. Aneth also taught in-class and after-school sessions at Arusha Meru International School and Braeburn International School. In 2018, she joined the 2-day Yoga and Mindfulness in the Classroom training by Femmy Brug, and a 2-day refresher course Kidsyoga also by Femmy Brug.

Aneth continued to join Happy Yoga adult yoga sessions to prepare herself for a future Adult Yoga Teachers Training Course. In November 2019, she joined the first 100 hours of the Kanga Yoga Teachers Training Course in Arusha. In September 2020, she joined the online 50-hours Kanga Yoga Teachers Training. Aneth is now looking forward to joining the final 50 hours of Kanga Yoga Teacher Training in 2021.

Aneth is currently teaching Kanga Yoga adult sessions for employees of a safari company, and became a replacement teacher, and joining sessions for private students, to increase her teaching experiences.
